Campus Overview
Only About Children Williamstown has two dedicated outdoor yards where children have plenty of space for creating, exploring and directing their own play. You’ll find a team of qualified and passionate Educators at our Williamstown early learning centre, ready to provide a safe, stimulating, happy and nurturing space for your child. Our children enjoy a bike track, a large fort with a slide, a swing, sandpits, vegetable patch and composting space. We have an abundance of trees, for both shade and fruit growing. Rated as ‘Exceeding’ the National Quality Standard, our Williamstown Campus is committed to providing the best care for every child in a nurturing environment.

We explore a variety of locations, including reciprocal visits with Grade 4 students from Williamstown North Primary School, train trips to local areas and Library visits.

- A leading nutrition, health and wellbeing offering which includes a Dietitian designed seasonal menu and fresh meals prepared daily in-house by our campus cooks

At Only About Children Williamstown, we offer More Than Childcare. Our unique approach to early years learning goes beyond education to encompass the health, social development and wellbeing of every child in our care. We call it The OAC Way.
Our innovative play-based Grow Curriculum gives Nursery, Toddler and Kindergarten children the best opportunity to develop their growing minds during their early years. It includes:
- Left Brain Logic – Literacy & Language, Exploration & STEM (Science, Tech, Engineering & Math) and Sustainability
- Right Brain Creativity – Music, Dramatic Play and Art
- Health and Wellbeing – Physical Activity and Nutrition

Our Grow curriculum is delivered via intentional teaching in dynamic small group learning environments where children’s successes, skills and challenges are monitored on an ongoing basis.
OAC Flexi (occasional care) is available at our Williamstown Campus. This option is for families wishing to utilise occasional or back up childcare at short notice. OAC Flexi is available in 2 sessions, full day or part day and is available for children aged 12 weeks – 5 years old.

Only About Children Williamstown childcare is conveniently located at 19-23 Power Street, Williamstown, with Williamstown North Station just a three-minute walk away. Williamstown North Primary School is across the road and a number of other schools sit near us. With plenty of onsite parking and street parking available, families can enjoy a convenient drop off and pick up every time they visit. Our local bus stops are a short five-minute walk away, with services connecting the wider area.

Williamstown Nursery (6 weeks – 2 years)
At Only About Children Williamstown, our passionate educators nurture curiosity, confidence and early learning for infants aged 6 weeks to 2 years. Our safe, stimulating environment combines structured routines with nurturing care and play.
Our Williamstown Nursery Program includes:
- Age-appropriate indoor and outdoor learning environments.
- Sleeping rooms with a focus on positive sleep practices.
- Dietitian-designed baby menus with daily meals and snacks.
- All baby essentials provided, including nappies, cots, linen, and sunscreen.
- Balanced structured and unstructured play-based learning through the Grow curriculum

Williamstown Toddlers (2-3 years)
Our Only About Children Williamstown, our toddler rooms provide a calm ,welcoming space that balances play, exploration, and learning. Passionate educators deliver play-based learning activities that support growth, problem solving, creativity and peer interaction.
Our Williamstown Toddler program includes:
- Safe age appropriate indoor and outdoor learning environments.
- Balanced structured and unstructured play-based learning through the Grow curriculum
- Small group learning activities.
- Dietitian-designed menus with daily meals and snacks.
- Calm sleeping and resting rooms.

Williamstown Kindergarten (3-5 years)
At Only About Children Williamstown, our kindergarten program is designed to give children aged 3-5 the strongest start to school. Led by qualified early childhood teachers, we focus on building school-ready skills through a balance of structured learning and play. Our Williamstown kindergarten is part of the Victorian Government Free Kinder program, plus recognised with the Kinder Tick.
What’s Included in Our Williamstown Kindergarten program:
- A play-based Grow curriculum covering literacy, STEM, sustainability, art, and music
- Individual learning and development plans with regular progress check-ins
- School-ready structure with core learning hours from 9am–3pm
- Long daycare hours for added flexibility and social growth
- Fully aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS).
- Health and Social Development support in preparation for school, including free Vision Screening

Campus Director
Doreen brings more than 20 years of experience in Early Childhood Education to our Campus, including the past decade in leadership as a Service Manager. She holds a Diploma in Early Childhood and is currently working towards her Bachelor of Early Childhood Education. Her passion has always centred on supporting every child’s learning, development and wellbeing.
Doreen believes deeply in the power of strong, respectful partnerships with families. She sees these relationships as the foundation for creating the best outcomes for children and for building a warm, connected community within the service. Inclusion, cultural respect and genuine belonging guide her approach every day.
As both an educator and a parent, Doreen understands how much trust families place in their early learning team. She is committed to creating an environment where children feel safe, confident and inspired to explore, and where families feel welcomed, supported and informed throughout their journey.
Her focus is on providing a nurturing, responsive learning environment that supports each child’s individual path and helps set them up for a positive transition into school and beyond.

Doreen Macafee
Doreen brings more than 20 years of experience in Early Childhood Education to our Campus, including the past decade in leadership as a Service Manager. She holds a Diploma in Early Childhood and is currently working towards her Bachelor of Early Childhood Education. Her passion has always centred on supporting every child’s learning, development and wellbeing.
