Campus Overview
At Only About Children Hampton, we believe that our holistic approach to childcare and kindergarten gives every child the greatest opportunity to reach their full potential. Our quality early learning programs are innovative, with a focus on health, wellbeing and education.
We use the Kinder Tick at Only About Children Hampton because we’re an approved provider of a Victorian Government funded kindergarten program. That means our service delivers a play-based learning program, led by a qualified early childhood teacher.
Our intimate cottage-Campus is located at 461-463 Bluff Road, Hampton, close to Hampton Street shops, with many bus stops just a short walk away. We are situated in between Wishart Reserve and Hilltop Hampton Reserve, with football clubs, athletics centres and baseballs clubs all within a 15-minute walk or two-minute drive.
We have a large natural yard with gorgeous trees for Kinder and toddler aged children to enjoy. Our children love the bike track, vegetable garden, lemon trees, and outdoor dining area. We have a separate yard for our Nursery children, with a large oak tree providing shade on hot days. Our three age-based rooms have been designed, with natural elements, to safely encourage children in their learning and growth. We have an open-door policy, meaning the children can choose to be inside or outside and are free to visit their siblings in other rooms. We enjoy our connection with the local community. Our excursions and community activities are based around the children’s interests and learning. At Only About Children childcare Hampton, this means regular excursions to surrounding parks, shopping for our monthly fruit and vegetables at Coles and weekly visits to our local Aged Care Facility, where the children have strong connections with the residents.
At Only About Children childcare Hampton, enrolment includes access to our innovative Health Program. Your child is supported through specialist screening and ongoing attention in Nutrition, Speech Pathology, Vision and Occupational Therapy. We provide daily nutritious dietitian-designed meals, prepared fresh by our cooks, from breakfast through to evening snack, so your child is well-nourished through their entire day.
You will find a team of qualified and passionate Educators at our Hampton early learning centre, ready to provide a safe, stimulating, happy and nurturing space for your child. Our Oac Grow educational curriculum directly supports Nursery and Kindergarten aged children through the development of their growing minds. Each day, your child will take part in a range of experiences that cover teachings from numeracy and literacy, to exploration, technology, sustainability and creative expression. We provide a learning environment that is both fun and inclusive, with programs ranging from our ‘Active’ program, to a fun ‘Book of the Month’ offering, as well as our Music program and our ‘Spanish Language Appreciation’ program.
Our dynamic play-based curriculum allows us to deliver consistent teaching in small group learning environments where we regularly monitor children’s skills, challenges and successes.
