Only About Children Concord is an expansive childcare centre, with two dedicated outdoor play areas – including large sandpits, fruit and vegetable gardens, relaxation spaces and beautiful green surrounds – children have plenty of shaded space to explore, create and lead their own play. Our four age-based indoor spaces provide an abundance of natural light and are carefully designed to encourage children’s growth and learning with a focus on safety and natural elements.

We have a dedicated team of multilingual Educators who are fluent in Mandarin, Spanish and English to ensure that every child receives the care they need to learn and grow. We love to connect with our local area and community through excursions and activities that feed into children’s interests and learning. At our Concord childcare centre these include trips to Sydney Olympic Park, Rhodes Parkrun/Bicentennial Park, the local convenience store, cafe and train station. We also participate in the Curious Kids Program with Northcott, a not-for-profit disability service that strives for people with disabilities to be identified as teachers and leaders, shaping the mindset of a generation of children.

When your child is enrolled at Only About Children childcare Concord, they are included in our Health Program, offering specialist screening and support in Nutrition, Vision, Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology. Each day your child will enjoy nourishing and freshly prepared, seasonal, meals designed by a qualified Dietitian.

With a team of qualified and passionate Educators, your child will find an early learning environment where they feel safe, nurtured, stimulated and happy. Our educational curriculum – Grow – gives Nursery, Toddler and Kindergarten children the best opportunity to develop their growing minds during their early years. It includes

Prapti Rawatt Sedhain

Campus Director

Prapti holds a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education & Care (Birth – 5 years) and speaks Nepalese, Hindi and English. She believes  that the first 5 years in a child’s life is the most crucial period where they develop their sense of  identity and engage in a lot of open-ended learning experiences. As an early childhood teacher she wants to nurture and shape children’s curiosity into learning experiences through their  pedagogical practice but also allow these experiences to become a part of  children’s life.

“A teacher-child relationship as a two-way process for sharing knowledge, experiences  and affection. Children teach some of the most valuable lessons of lives, through their  innocence, curiosity and their kindness. I believe that a child paves their  own path towards development, leading their interests, while the educators and their peers  scaffold their learning and help them achieve the outcomes. Throughout their lives, children  develop lots of social relationships with the people and the environment around them and  learn from them. Rather than considering a child as an empty vessel, I believe that they are  full of potential and capable of undergoing different challenges, with the help of educators  and peers.”

What our families are saying

The vibe was always positive, educators are all very professional & genuinely care about the kids. Day in day out, I have never had a bad moment, my son comes home happy and well taken care of. They have so many educators that has been there over 10 years and we just celebrated Jason 20th anniversary at OAC Concord.
For someone who doesn’t have a big family to rely on, OAC Concord has made us feel like we have an extended family.
