We say ‘Thank You’ to our teams

2020 definitely threw us all a curveball but here at Only About Children, it didn’t stop us from continuing to recognise, acknowledge and celebrate our amazing team members. In past years we have celebrated our people through our annual Only About Children Excellence Awards. In 2020 we adapted to COVID-19 by launching our ‘Thank You’ program. Each month from June to October we acknowledged and celebrated our people through a range of exciting and engaging initiatives.
In June we focused on giving thanks. We did this through video messages, visual banners at our campuses, the sharing of gifts and organising virtual events for our teams.
In July our focus turned to the wellbeing of our people, providing our teams with a range of exciting, interactive and at times, humorous resources to support their health and wellbeing. We engaged some fabulous teams to help shape this program including The Biting Truth, our Oac Active Team and our Employee Assistance Program partners AccessEAP.
Throughout August and September, we supported and encouraged our teams to spend time on their professional development, providing a range of tools and resources to help them to live, love and LEARN!
Supporting team member wellbeing is always a key priority here at Only About Children, and now more than ever we want to ensure the wellbeing of our team members is front and centre.
