Only About Children Penrith is an early learning centre with two dedicated outdoor play areas, offering an array of opportunities for interactions with the natural world. Both spaces are resourced with vegetable gardens, flower bed gardens and vast shaded areas, covered naturally with mature trees and shade sails. Children have plenty of space to create, explore and lead their own play. Our six age-based indoor spaces have been designed to encourage children to learn and grow with a focus on safety and natural elements. Our children participate in explorative excursions and community connections within the local community. 

We enjoy connecting with our local community through planned outings and community activities that build on the children’s interests and learning. We regularly go for walks to the nearby park and examine the natural and man-made features of the local area. Our children enjoy visiting the surrounding businesses, building partnerships and learning from the various services our community has to offer. 

At Only About Children childcare Penrith, enrolment includes access to our innovative Health Program. Your child is supported through specialist screening and ongoing attention in Speech Pathology, Nutrition, Vision and Occupational Therapy. We provide daily nutritious dietitian-designed meals, prepared fresh by our cooks, from breakfast through to evening snack, so your child is well-nourished through their entire day. 

With a team of qualified and passionate Educators, your child will find an early learning environment where they feel safe, nurtured, stimulated and happy. Our educational curriculum – Grow – gives Nursery, Toddler and Kindergarten children the best opportunity to develop their growing minds during their early years. It includes

Flexi Care (occasional care) is available at our Penrith Campus. This option is for families wishing to utilise occasional or back up childcare at short notice. Flexi Care is available in 2 sessions, full day or part day and is available for children aged 12 weeks – 5 years old.

We aim to make your child’s transition to school as smooth as possible by providing balanced, small group learning activities that build independence and resilience along with academic skills.

Our team of highly-skilled educators and health specialists work together to create an integrated journey that enhances your child’s learning and development. Individual learning plans are created to empower each child with skills that will help them reach their full academic and social potential.

Penrith Toddlers

Our Only About Children Penrith campus is focused on giving your child a calm and welcoming environment that balances play, exploration, and learning. Our Toddler rooms are led by passionate educators who create play-based learning activities designed to provide toddler-aged children with nurturing experiences that encourage growth and development.

Our Toddler rooms are safe, supportive spaces that facilitate creative exploration. Each space is expertly designed to encourage younger children to explore, solve problems, create, construct and interact with peers.

Penrith Nursery 

At Only About Children Penrith Nursery, our passionate educators focus on laying a foundation for enduring curiosity, confidence and a love of learning. Our Penrith Nursery caters to the care and development needs of infants aged 6 weeks -2 years.

The Penrith Nursery focuses on safe sleep practices developed by qualified Family Health Nurses and Consultants. Our nursery is a safe and stimulating environment that encourages your child to explore and play and implements both structure and a nurturing environment with our exceptional caregiving and play routines.

Our Penrith Nursery Program includes:

• Age 6 weeks -2 years appropriate indoor/outdoor learning environments.
• Sleeping rooms with a focus on positive sleep practices.
• Dietitian designed baby menus with all meals and snacks included.
• Baby essentials such as nappies, cots, linen, and sunscreen.
• Balanced structured and unstructured play-based learning – Grow curriculum.

Our purpose-built one-level Campus is conveniently located at 4/120 Mulgoa Road, in one of the most popular commercial hubs in Penrith. There are seven local primary schools within 10 minutes’ drive and a number of local parks just a short walk away. With plenty of onsite parking spaces, families can enjoy a straightforward drop off and pick up every visit. We are easily accessible by bus, with direct routes to the Penrith Train Station connecting us to the wider area.
