Helpful Information
Asquith Campus Educators

Nathan Quinlan
Campus Director
Nathan’s journey has taken him far and wide, across continents working at Cambridge University, and through all roles from an Educator, Director, and recently in Operations. With 22 years of experience in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Education), and with his wife also in the sector, he lives and breathes providing quality early learning programs for children, ensuring the fun and innocence of early childhood are never forgotten. He has become fully embedded in the culture of the Central Coast community, supporting the mighty Central Coast Mariners, and he likes to keep fit by staying active. Nathan has three gorgeous daughters who hold him accountable every day, and a wife who keeps him sane.

Yan
Campus Cook
Yan has been our chef for four years and has become the welcoming face for children and families as they enter the campus each day. As each child arrives, they are eager to see what drawing Yan has in store. You see, every afternoon once Yan has finished for the day, he stays back and creates a chalk artwork for the children for the next day. It has become an institution. But that’s not all. He doesn’t forget the parents, sharing on a separate chalk board a collection of interesting facts, or terrible ‘dad’ jokes, which I’m sure are shared by our parents when they arrive at their workplace. Just don’t get stuck talking about Liverpool FC!
Yan has a Malaysian background, and his culinary skills are second to none. Ironically, his favourite dish to create is Bolognaise. He even manages to prepare and provide meals for the team each day, both vegetarian and meat based. We are so lucky to have such a talent.

Why Children Can’t Wait to Arrive at OAC Asquith Each Day
From chalkboard masterpieces to warm homemade meals, mornings at OAC Asquith are anything but ordinary. Discover how one team member is adding a little extra magic to the start of every day.

OAC Asquith engages with our community emergency services
Stop, drop and roll, stranger danger, healthy bodies, and sirensHere’s what our families have to say
We love that OAC feels like a family. In the past few weeks alone, there has been an even greater shift towards positive change. There has been ongoing open communication, a growing sense of community through the sharing of special celebrations and events, and strategic changes to how they foster happy, safe and engaging learning environments as a reflection of their goal to meet the changing needs of the service. We are seeing a happy toddler come home who is excited about returning, a baby who is comfortable, giggly and reaching for her educators, and a mummy and daddy who can leave their children with ease knowing they are loved, cared for and thriving while we are gone.
On top of developing quality learning programs and delivering comprehensive daily updates, the food is superb. The chef is second to none- providing nutritious and well thought out meals, and even taking the time to create individualised meals as we introduce solids to our baby.
We could not recommend OAC Asquith more highly. Nathan and the team are creating a home away from home for our little people.
We are also huge fans of the daily report via the app showing all the skills she been working on while having fun during the day.
It is a beautiful centre with the huge lush green undercover playground area. Kids can enjoy and play around even if it is raining. The wide and spacious car park makes the drop off and pick ups convenient. The centre is clean and tidy with in-house chef preparing healthy and delicious meals.
The educators are wonderful and are passionate about their job. Can’t thank them enough for the work they are doing!!
Mel is great at managing the overall operations especially communications. A big shout out to Surya - Assistant Director who ensures smooth functioning of the centre. I have seen her helping out the educators when they need a hand and also assisting parents with their queries. With always a smile on her face, Surya provides friendly atmosphere at daycare.
The carers are amazing, friendly and give a great rundown of my sons day everytime we pick him up. Most importantly he loves his daycare days, the acticties they do, his friends & carers.
We also love the big undercover outside area, meaning there is still plenty of outside play even if the weather is not perfect. Family events are run regularily (Christams Party, Easter hat parade, grandparents day, etc) and are always fun for everyone who attends.
Mel is always soo helpful, and happy to accomodate a casual day at last minute if she can.
We would not go anywhere else.
