Tell us about your career journey at Only About Children?

I have been with Only About Children for just over 5 years now working in the Melbourne Support Office and have had the opportunity to work across a number of different roles.

What opportunities to move internally have you had in this time?

I first joined Only About Children as the Receptionist/Admin Assistant for our Melbourne office. After a few months in the role, an opportunity became available to move into the People and Culture team supporting the Casual Recruitment for our campuses. I worked in this position for about two years when I then had the opportunity to support the Permanent Recruitment Team which is where I work now as a Talent Acquisition Partner.

How has Only About Children supported your continued learning and development?

I have taken part in a variety of learning and development workshops. I have access to resources on the Oac Academy as well as receiving guidance on the job from many of the great people in my team.

What do you love most about your job?

Placing educators and teachers into their ideal roles and seeing their careers grow with Only About Children.

What makes working at Only About Children so special?

The people I get to work with every day and the ‘One Team’ approach in everything we do.

What advice would you give to someone looking to take the next step in their career?

Growth takes place outside of your comfort zone – if it doesn’t challenge you, it won’t change you, so give it a go!
