Only About Children St Leonards is a childcare and preschool centre conveniently located on Pacific Highway in the heart of St Leonards, close to Royal North Shore Hospital. With underground parking, a dedicated pram bay and excellent access to public transport, including St Leonards Station just a five-minute walk away, our campus offers a convenient experience for busy families. St Leonards Nursery (6 weeks – 2 years)
At Only About Children St Leonards, our nursery provides a calm and supportive environment for infants aged 6 weeks to 2 years. Our educators focus on building secure relationships and encouraging safe exploration during this important developmental stage.
Our St Leonards Nursery Program includes:

St Leonards Toddlers (2-3 years)
Our toddler program in St Leonards supports children aged 2-3 in a nurturing environment that balances learning and play. Our educators use small group activities to build confidence, social skills and early learning foundations.

St Leonards Preschool (3-5 years)
Our St Leonards preschool program prepares children for school through a blend of structured learning, creative play and wellbeing support. We use individualised learning plans to build skills in literacy, STEM, social development and resilience.
As a provider of NSW Start Strong Preschool Funding, our program is government-recognised and led by qualified early childhood teachers.
Our St Leonards Preschool Program Includes:

Bo Chen
Our Director, Bo brings 14 years of experience in Early Childhood Education and leads our St Leonards campus with a strong commitment to high‑quality learning and care. He holds a Master of Teaching (Early Childhood) from the University of Sydney.
His journey in the sector began with a strong interest in supporting children’s development during their most important early years. Bo remains passionate about creating environments where children feel safe, valued and inspired to learn. He enjoys building a strong, supportive team and takes pride in seeing both children and educators grow in confidence.
Bo’s philosophy centres on the belief that children learn best through meaningful connections with their environment, their families and their community. He values experienced, consistent educators, well‑resourced learning spaces and programs that reflect children’s interests. Child safety and staff wellbeing are at the heart of his leadership approach.
Also fluent in Mandarin, Bo lives in North Willoughby with his wife, who works in the early childhood sector, and their two children.
He looks forward to welcoming families into the St Leonards community and fostering an environment where children can engage deeply in learning and thrive in their development.
