Spreading ANZAC Day Cheer and Kindness at OAC Caringbah
At OAC Caringbah, we love connecting with our community and this ANZAC Day we found a special way to show our support for those serving in the Australian Defence Force.
After seeing a call out from the Engadine RSL Sub Branch, we invited our families to donate their favourite treats to create care hampers for ADF members. The response was incredible. Every day, children and their parents added more to our growing basket, filling it with chocolates, snacks, and plenty of love.
Before the hampers were delivered, we gathered together to talk about what else we could do to show our appreciation. That is when the children suggested sending Bunji, our very special safety mascot, along with the hampers to help keep the soldiers safe and bring them a little comfort from home.
Stay tuned to hear more about how we continue to share kindness and connection at OAC Caringbah.
