What do you love most about your job?

I love that every day is different. Every day I have the chance to learn something new. Every day I see or am part of something that inspires children, team members, families and the community. I enjoy watching children and team members grow. I’m passionate about supporting and mentoring them to develop into the child or person they want to be. I am proud of my role in early education, of my campus and of my team. I love to share this with everyone!

Tells us about your 25-year journey.

Wow, 25 years have certainly flown, and I have loved every moment. Every high and low, every challenge, every child, team member and family has only inspired my passion and dedication to the early childhood profession and myself as an educator. I am passionate about what I do and love to share this passion with current and new families, children and teammates. As early childhood educators, we have a special place in the lives of children and families. We encourage, educate and nurture them to flourish.

What makes working at Only About Children so special?

Only About Children is an ever-evolving company that listens to its team members and supports them in their role of educating children

What advice do you give to someone entering into the early childhood industry?

Immerse yourself in your role and your campus. Remember to breathe, listen, ask questions and reflect. Connect with a mentor and absorb all that you can, for you can be a part of something wonderful when you are a part of a child’s growth and development.
