Anna Learmonth
“My vision is for Only About Children to continue delivering consistently high-quality early learning and care in all the communities we are in. Having entrusted OAC with the care of my own two growing children during their early years, I know the significant benefits of a strong early education foundation, and the positive impacts this can have for both children and their families.”
Anna led Only About Children in her position as CEO from 2017 to 2020 before recommencing as CEO with our organisation in late 2022. Anna brings over 30 years’ experience in CEO and Senior Executive roles within organisations in early learning, retirement living and other sectors.
Donna Lee
“As Early Childhood professionals, we honour each child as a whole person, champion their rights, and create playful, intentional experiences that support healthy development. I’m committed to pedagogies that nurture all areas of growth and ensure every child feels valued. Through strong partnerships with families and deep community connections, we create inclusive spaces where culture is celebrated and children grow as confident, compassionate learners.“
Donna joined Only About Children in 2025. In her role as Director Early Childhood, Donna is responsible for leading and guiding the pedagogy and practice of our curriculum and philosophy ensuring best practice within the sector and alignment with the Early Years Learning Frameworks for Australia.
Daniel Carceles

Daniel joined Only About Children in 2025 as Executive Director, Operational Excellence. He brings extensive experience in transformation, innovation, and large-scale service delivery across global and regional operations, with a strong focus on delivering long-term value and improved outcomes for children and families.
Throughout his career, Daniel held senior leadership roles as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Transformation Officer, where he oversaw large networks of service teams and programs that enhanced efficiency, culture, and connection. He is also deeply committed to developing future leaders, having mentored through UNSW’s AGSM Business School and supported young professionals as a Career Counsellor with Generation Australia.
He is recognised for his ability to lead teams through complex change while fostering collaborative, creative, and high-performing environments that deliver meaningful, lasting outcomes for children, families, and educators across the Only About Children community.
Kim Freckelton

Kim brings over 30 years of experience in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector. Each role has shaped Kim’s vision of what high quality early childhood education looks like and strengthened her unwavering commitment to the sector. Today, as Head of Education at Only About Children, Kim continues to champion best practice and empower educators to create inclusive, meaningful learning experiences for every child.
Kim is deeply passionate about early learning, particularly the pedagogy and practice that influence a child’s first experiences with education. A strong advocate for reflective practice and ongoing professional development, Kim is dedicated to supporting educators in their growth and ensuring every child receives the best possible start in life.
Anna McCauley
“I love working at Only About Children and supporting families and educators with how children are progressing with their movement skills, independence and learning how to play with other children. I enjoy providing information to families on topics of interest related to development like preparing for school, managing big emotions, steps to toileting independence.”
Anna has worked as an Occupational Therapist for nearly 30 years supporting children who have difficulty with learning and development and working closely with both educators and families. Anna has experience working in large medical and therapy teams in Australia, Canada and UK.
Cleo Rowley

Cleo joined Only About Children in 2023. Cleo is an experienced HR leader with a wealth of experience in change management, leadership development, Workplace Health & Safety and mentorship. With her strong leadership capabilities, she is dedicated to fostering innovation within the People & Culture space and providing strong support to our campus and Support Office teams.
