Child Care Subsidy Information (CCS)

What is Child Care Subsidy (CCS)?
The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is an Australian Government program that provides financial assistance to help families with the cost of approved childcare services.
How does the CCS work?
The subsidy amount is paid directly to the childcare provider and is based on a family’s income, the age and number of children in care, and the amount of time parents spend on work, study, or other recognized activities. Families will make a co-contribution to their child care fees and pay to the provider the difference between the fee charged and the subsidised amount.
