At Only About Children (Oac) we like to do things a little differently. Our unique child led curriculum is part of our holistic approach which includes programs designed in house for music, language, drama, active and sustainability. We have seasonal healthy menus designed by our own nutritionists and prepared by our campus chefs each day and an in-house Health team including speech pathologists and occupational therapists who can work directly with children, Educators and families where any developmental delays or issues can be supported.
About the Role & Campus
The role of an Assistant Director is a busy and varied one. With a strong focus of being hands on with the team in a coaching and mentoring capacity, this role provides the platform for longer term career succession into a Campus Director role. The majority of your time will be spent working across all rooms, however there will be non-contact time to support the Campus Director with admin related responsibilities.
The campus is situated in the heart of Chatswood, walking distance from the train station and the Westfield shopping centre. All our activity rooms open directly onto an outdoor covered playscapes. The campus has onsite parking making it easy for pick up and drop off. An experienced team of community based educators bring to the daily curriculum a variety of skills, interests and cultures. Importantly, all share a passion for education in the early years.

We understand that educating young children is complex and requires ongoing qualifications and professional development. We ensure all our team members are appropriately skilled and qualified to develop and educate young minds. For this position, we are looking for:
- Bachelor in Early Childhood Teaching/Education or Diploma level
- Minimum 3 years experience in leadership role
- Provide quality education, development and care to the children in our campuses
- Provide an exceptional customer and partnership experience with our families.
- Lead a team in day to day operations ensuring that the Campus Quality Framework and WH&S requirements are met
