The role and campus

Our purpose-built one-level Campus is conveniently located at 4/120 Mulgoa Road, in one of the most popular commercial hubs in Penrith. There are seven local primary schools within 10 minutes’ drive and a number of local parks just a short walk away.

Oac Penrith are looking to welcome an Early Childhood Teacher to their team.

This role will see you inspiring the programs while ensuring a safe and stimulating learning environment. Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: 

  • Ensure the Oac Grow curriculum is being delivered at the highest standard 
  • Maintaining ongoing records of the children’s development, program and daily information for children
  • Facilitate a collaborative work environment focusing on a One Team approach by supporting educators
  • Create inspiring, interesting, and age appropriate learning environments 
  • Form meaningful partnerships with families to reach the best outcomes for each individual child
  • A focus on the Primary Care-Giving Approach

What you will need

  • Bachelors/Masters in Early Childhood teaching or ACECQA equivalent 
  • NESA Accreditation
  • Working With Children Check
  • Strong passion for early childhood education and supporting the needs of children as individuals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Planning and programming experience as well as leadership skills
