About Oac

At Only About Children (Oac) we understand the importance of early years learning. Quality education improves a child’s development, social and emotional outcomes and long term achievement and wellbeing. We nurture and support early years learning and education through our unique child lead curriculum which, based on the EYLF, focusses on age appropriate learning and is targeted at Nursery, Toddler and Preschool / Kindergarten aged children.

Our beautifully renovated Campus is a converted nunnery, conveniently located at 163/165 Bridge Road, Glebe and close to Glebe Point Road. We have built a close relationship with three major nearby schools and many of our children will go on to attend one of these schools. With parking available at the back of our centre, families can plan for a smooth drop off and pick up every visit. We are close to public transport with bus stops on Glebe Point Road that connect to the wider area in both directions.

We understand that educating young children is complex and requires ongoing qualifications and professional development. We ensure all our team members are appropriately skilled and qualified to develop and educate young minds. For this position, we are looking for:

  • A Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) or equivalent approved teaching qualifications
  • Passionate about Innovative Early Childhood Education
  • Committed to excellence in early childhood education and care
  • Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF with proven results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
