Role Overview

The role and campus

Oac Glebe are looking to welcome an Early Childhood Teacher to their team. This role will see you inspiring the programs while ensuring a safe and stimulating learning environment. Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: 

  • Ensure the Oac Grow curriculum is being delivered at the highest standard 
  • Maintaining ongoing records of the children’s development, program and daily information for children
  • Facilitate a collaborative work environment focusing on a One Team approach by supporting educators
  • Create inspiring, interesting, and age appropriate learning environments 
  • Form meaningful partnerships with families to reach the best outcomes for each individual child
  • A focus on the Primary Care-Giving Approach 

Our beautifully renovated Campus is a converted nunnery, conveniently located at 163/165 Bridge Road, Glebe and close to Glebe Point Road. We are close to public transport with bus stops on Glebe Point Road that connect to the wider area in both directions.

What you will need

  • Bachelors/Masters in Early Childhood teaching or ACECQA equivalent 
  • NESA Accreditation
  • A cooperative team player who enjoys working in a cohesive environment
  • Strong passion for early childhood education and supporting the needs of children as individuals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Planning and programming experience as well as leadership skills
