Only About Children Castle Hill 

Our picturesque Castle Hill Campus has two large outdoor play areas, so children have plenty of space to explore, create and lead their play. Our preschool playground is home to resident chickens, which the children are encouraged to care for. Our children love to recycle food scraps for our chickens, worms and compost bins!
  

The Role

Only About Children Castle Hill are seeking an enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to join our team in our Preschool Room. This full-time, Monday – Friday position will be on rotating rosters.

At Only About Children, we practice Respectful Interactions with children and encourage our Educators to build relationships that support children to feel valued as competent and capable individuals.

Duties

  • Ensure delivery and maintenance of routines and programs
  • Create and set up exciting learning environments for the children that are in line with Oac Grow.
  • Document the children’s learning through the Oac Connect app, supporting and mentoring other team members
  • Form strong partnerships with children and their families.
  • Work as a team and ensure that you support and respect other team members.

Skills & experience 

  • Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Teaching (or ACECQA equivalent)
  • NESA Teaching Accreditation
  • Working With Children Check
  • Strong pedagogical practices
  • A creative and cooperative team player
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
