At Only About Children (Oac) we like to do things a little differently. Our unique child led curriculum is part of our holistic approach which includes programs designed in house for music, language, drama, active and sustainability.
We have seasonal healthy menus designed by our own nutritionists and prepared by our campus chefs each day and an in-house Health team including speech pathologists and occupational therapists who can work directly with children, Educators and families where any developmental delays or issues can be supported.
About the Campus and Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate Diploma qualified educator to join our team on a full time basis. Our campus features an immaculate outdoor play area with wonderful spaces including slides, tunnels and two bike tracks. Half of this area is undercover, for continued play rain or shine. Our five indoor spaces are designed to encourage children’s development at their age and stage of growth – we have two nursery rooms, a toddler room and two preschool rooms. We love to educate on sustainability and have our own compost bin, worm farm, vegetable patch (planted with herbs to use in our cooking), fruit trees and a water tank.
We understand that educating young children is complex and requires ongoing qualifications and professional development. We ensure all our team members are appropriately skilled and qualified to develop and educate young minds. For this position, we are looking for:
- A Diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent approved teaching qualifications (or studying towards)
- Diploma Room Leader experience
- A creative and cooperative team person
- Committed to excellence in early childhood education and care
- Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF with proven results
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
