Role Overview

About Oac

We believe children have a right to a choice when it comes to their learning, so at Only About Children (Oac) the basis of our curriculum is child led, play based learning. This is embedded into our daily practice with programs such as Active, Drama, Language, Music & Sustainability. Our programs are not ‘bolted on’ they are embedded into everything that we do.  

We are currently seeking an a Diploma Educator to join the Nursery or Pre-school Room on a part time basis as per the following days: 

1 role open in Nursery room -Thursday and Friday
1 role open in Pre school – Monday and Friday

Only About Children Alexandria is a beautiful 84 place child care centre providing the highest quality care for children and families. Our operating hours are now extended to 6.30am – 6.30pm, Monday to Friday.
With 5 rooms across two levels, this centre is a heaven for children and provides the ultimate blend of intimacy, development and fun. The outdoor yard includes state-of-the-art facilities and features such as slides, tunnels, veggie patch, bike track, Tee Pee, rock climbing to ensure children are entertained, engaged and happy while in our care.

There is also consistent on the job mentoring and coaching and opportunities to network with other team members.

  • Diploma in Early Childhood and Education or equivalent 
  • A creative and cooperative team person
  • Committed to excellence in early childhood education and care
  • Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF with proven results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
