Only About Children (Oac) is one of Australia’s leading early education and preschool providers for children 0-5 years with a focus on integrated and holistic early childhood education, child development and health and well being. About the Role and Campus:
We are currently looking to welcome a Cert III qualified Early Childhood educator to the team at our Chatswood Station Campus.
With a huge dedicated outdoor play area, including separate play spaces for all age groups, children have plenty of space for exploration, creativity and self-lead play. We have a large indoor space, covered with soft fall for children to enjoy covered play during wet weather. Our five age-based indoor spaces are filled with natural elements and specifically designed to encourage children’s growth and learning in a safe environment.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to, planning and implementing the educational program which values a holistic view of each child’s development, maintaining ongoing records of the children’s development, program and daily information and assuring the high quality of services in consideration of the National Quality Standards and regulations.
We understand that educating young children is complex and requires ongoing qualifications and professional development so we ensure all our team members are appropriately skilled and qualified to develop and educate young minds. For this position you will need:
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care qualification
- An understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF
- Valid WWCC
- Up-to-date certifications such as first aid and mandatory reporting
- A collaborative and team-player approach
