Only About Children (Oac) is one of Australia’s leading early education and preschool providers for children 0-5 years with a focus on integrated and holistic early childhood education, child development and health and well being. About the Role and Campus:
We are currently looking to welcome a Cert III qualified Early Childhood educator to the team at our Cremorne Campus. Our purpose-built three-level Campus is located at 15-19 Parraween Street, in the heart of Cremorne. This early learning centre is a ten-minute drive to Taronga Zoo in one direction and a 10-12-minute drive to Luna Park in the other. With parking, and pram storage available, families can enjoy a smooth drop off and pick up every visit. We are less than a 10-minute walk to Military Road with frequent bus services to the city.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to, planning and implementing the educational program which values a holistic view of each child’s development, maintaining ongoing records of the children’s development, program and daily information and assuring the high quality of services in consideration of the National Quality Standards and regulations.
We understand that educating young children is complex and requires ongoing qualifications and professional development so we ensure all our team members are appropriately skilled and qualified to develop and educate young minds. For this position you will need:
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
- An understanding of the National Quality Framework and EYLF
- Valid WWCC
- Up-to-date certifications such as first aid and mandatory reporting
- A collaborative and team-player approach
