Who are Oac?
At Only About Children (Oac) we like to do things a little differently. Our unique child led curriculum is part of our holistic approach which includes programs designed in house for music, language, drama, active and sustainability.
We have seasonal healthy menus designed by our own nutritionists and prepared by our campus chefs each day and an in-house Health team including speech pathologists and occupational therapists who can work directly with children, Educators and families where any developmental delays or issues can be supported.
The Role & Campus
Our West Pymble campus features a stunning outdoor play space for children to enjoy the full benefits of interacting with nature. This flow continues inside with light, bright, airy interiors, all designed to stimulate and capture children’s innate sense of imagination.
The role of Assistant Director is to provide high quality education, development and care to the children in our campuses whilst providing an exceptional customer and partnership experience with our families. This makes up our core Oac offering to families called “The Oac Way”.
They will also take responsibility for:
- Partnering with the Campus Director to deliver a high quality operational service
- Leading teams in the rooms and help with day to day operations ensuring that the Campus Quality Framework and WH&S requirements are met

How can you support us?
We understand that educating young children is complex and requires ongoing qualifications and professional development. We ensure all our team members are appropriately skilled and qualified to develop and educate young minds. For this position, we are looking for:
- At least 2 years’ experience in a Leadership role
- Diploma in Early Childhood/Children Services
- Current First Aid Certificate and Current Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualification
- Child Protection qualification – Respond and Identify Children at Risk of Harm
