Role Overview

About the Role

The primary responsibility of the Administration Assistant is to offer administration support to the VIC office and work alongside the NSW Administrative team to ensure both offices run seamlessly.

From handling the flow of incoming calls, maintaining the general tidiness of the office environment, and offering administrative support to teams in periods of overload, through to creating and maintaining a remarkable experience for anyone who makes contact with the Administration Office.

Reporting into the Senior Operations Manager, this role will be an exciting and busy one. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: 

  • General administrative support including answering calls and emails, filing, scanning and office organisation.
  • Planning and general management of internal and external events, meetings, and training. 
  • General administrative support to other office departments 
  • Being the point of contact for the building landlord to ensure the office complies with tenancy requirements.
  • Ensuring the office is clean, tidy, and well stocked.
  • Management of the Kindergarten Information Management System

Requirements for the role 

  • Experience in administration or office management 
  • Ability to work in a fast paced office environment 
  • Excellent organisation and communication skill
  • Experience in using Microsoft office and ability to learn new systems
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a part of a wider team
  • Drivers licence and working with children check
